In July 2011 I undertook a journey from Alice Springs to Broome and back, taking photos of the landscape. Rather than taking conventional photos, my goal was to capture abstract images of the environment. Many of these images aren't easily recognisable to the viewer. These images are designed to stimulate and to let the viewer question exactly what a photograph might be. A selection of these images were displayed in an exhibition entitled "Abstract Journey" at the Civic Centre Art Space in the Casey Council Offices at Narre Warren.
All the photographs in the exhibition were taken using a conventional film camera. They are printed by Brilliant Prints on archival canvas using pigmented inks to produce an image that is ready to hang and which will last a lifetime.
